Participant: Burt J. Bossi Title: Product Manager, ACS Responsibility: New systems and services supporting AT&T's Telecommunication Relay Services Platform. Background: Electrical Engineering (Purdue), 18 years with AT&T, 11 years with product and service development and 7 years with Telecommunication Relay Services. Experience: Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Architecture, and most currently, Product Management. Awarded four Patents, one pending. Burt has spent a majority of the past 7 years in various aspects of TRS. Most recently, Burt spoke to a FCC panel in Washington, DC on the implications of dial-around services (10-10XXX) in the relay environment. As the Product Manager, Burt is responsible for millions of relay calls annually. Forum Contribution: 711 is a method to lower the communication barriers between the hearing/speech impaired and the non-impaired community. Burt would contribute extensive technical knowledge and network experience. He could discuss technical aspects of the 711 concept. He could describe network features, functional equivalence and other implementation issues.
