On June 8, 1995, Cox Cable Orange County, Inc. filed with the Commission an appeal of a local rate order issued by the City of Irvine, California, which directed Cox to lower basic cable service rates and refund overcharges to subscribers. 2. On November 14, 1997, Cox filed with the Commission a letter withdrawing with prejudice its earlier-filed appeal. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED THAT Cox Cable Orange County Inc.'s Appeal of the local rate order of the City of Irvine, California is DISMISSED. 4.
