On March 25, 1999, InterMedia Partners of Kentucky, L.P. ("InterMedia) filed with the Commission an appeal of a local rate order adopted by Jefferson County, Kentucky ("Jefferson County") on February 23, 1999. InterMedia also filed a Request for Emergency stay. In the local rate order, Jefferson County established new regulated rates for basic cable service and required InterMedia to implement certain rate reductions and to issue refunds to subscribers. 2. In a Joint Motion to Withdraw Appeal of Local Rate Order filed on November 24, 1999, InterMedia and Jefferson County ask that the appeal and the request for emergency stay and all subsequently filed pleadings related to this proceeding be withdrawn and dismissed. InterMedia and Jefferson County state that they have reached an acceptable resolution of this matter and further Commission review of the underlying dispute is no longer necessary. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Joint Motion to Withdraw Appeal of Local Rate Order filed by InterMedia Partners of Kentucky, L.P. and Jefferson County, Kentucky IS GRANTED and the appeal and emergency stay request ARE DISMISSED. 4.
