         CHAIRMAN HUNDT, COMMISSIONER NESS, STEPHEN O. HEWLETT 
                 APPOINTED TO  FEDERAL-STATE JOINT BOARD
                            (CC DOCKET 80-286)

     The Commission has appointed Chairman Reed E. Hundt, Commissioner Susan Ness and 
Stephen O. Hewlett, of the Tennessee Public Service Commission, to serve on the Federal State
Joint Board in CC Docket 80-286.  

     Chairman Hundt will serve as Chairman of the Joint Board.

     Chairman Hundt and Commissioner Ness fill positions recently vacated by Commissioner
James H. Quello and former Commissioner Ervin S. Duggan.  Mr. Hewlett replaces Lilo
Schifter of the Maryland Public Services Commission. 

     Action by the Commission February 28, 1995, by Order (FCC 95-81).  Chairman Hundt,
Commissioners Quello, Barrett, Ness and Chong.
