$//Daniels Comm.Partners v. GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company Incorporated, DA 95- 276//$ $/300.224 Pole Attachments/$ FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20554 February 17, 1995 IN REPLY REFER TO: 1600E Mr. David J. Gudino Attorney GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company Incorporated 1850 M Street, N.W. Suite 1200 Washington, D.C. 20036 Dear Mr. Gudino: On February 15, 1995, you filed a request for an extension of time for GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company Incorporated (GTE) to file a response to the pole attachment complaint filed by Daniels Communications Partners d/b/a Hawaiian Cablevision Company, et al.(Daniels), PA 95-009. A previous request by GTE for an extension until February 21, 1995, to respond to the complaint was granted on February 13, 1995. You state that the parties have met and have agreed to continue negotiations with the goal of reaching a settlement for all the complaints. Because of these settlement discussions GTE believes that an additional extension of time until March 6, 1995, would promote administrative efficiency and would further the public interest. You also state that the complainants are not opposed to this extension request. After careful consideration we believe that GTE has shown good cause to justify the grant of an extension of time. Therefore, GTE has until March 6, 1995 to file its response in the above referenced complaint. Sincerely, Kenneth P. Moran Chief, Accounting and Audits Division cc: All Parties
