Dear Ms. Wagner,
This letter responds to your December 7, 2000 request to extend the deadline for implementing
business rules changes for the Ameritech states.  You state that, due to the complexity and
programming work necessary to make the changes, SBC requires an extension from January
2001 to March 2001.

To ensure that the changes are made correctly and that the resulting reports are accurate, I hereby
grant SBC's request to extend the implementation date.  If SBC is unable to meet this schedule, you
should notify Mark Stone of my staff at (202) 418-0816 as soon as possible.
