Pursuant to section 410(c) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, the Commission appoints the Honorable Kevin J. Martin and the Honorable Michael J. Copps, Commissioners of the Federal Communications Commission, to serve on the Federal-State Joint Board on Separations (Separations Joint Board). The Honorable Kevin J. Martin shall serve as the Federal Chair of the Separations Joint Board. These appointments fill the positions recently vacated by the Honorable William E. Kennard, former Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission and former Chairman of the Separations Joint Board, and the Honorable Susan Ness, former Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission. The Commission gratefully acknowledges the contributions of the departing members to the work of the Separations Joint Board. 2.
