DA 95-1655 July 26, 1995 CARRIERS FILE PLAN FOR NON-STRUCTURAL SAFEGUARDS TO PREVENT PCS CROSS-SUBSIDIES AND DISCRIMINATION PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED On July 10, 1995, Pacific Bell, Nevada Bell, Pacific Bell Mobile Services, and Pacific Telesis Mobile Services (hereinafter referred to as "Pacific Bell") filed a plan describing the Personal Communications Service (PCS) non-structural safeguards they have implemented in compliance with Commission requirements. In that Order, the Commission stated that commencement of PCS service by local exchange companies is "contingent on the LEC implementing an acceptable plan for non- structural safeguards against discrimination and cross- subsidization." Interested parties may file comments on Pacific Bell's proposed plan no later than August 16, 1995. Replies should be filed by September 12, 1995. Comments should make reference to GEN Docket No. 90-314 and the Pacific Bell plan.
