$// Public Notice; Issuance of Tariff Orders; DA 95-2076 //$ $/ Section 0.291 Delegated Authority /$ TRANSMITTED FOR FCC RECORD ONLY DA 95-2076 September 29, 1995 COMMON CARRIER BUREAU ANNOUNCES NEW POLICY REGARDING ISSUANCE OF TARIFF ORDERS The Common Carrier Bureau has announced that it will no longer routinely issue Orders to address petitions associated with tariff filings that are being allowed to take effect without imposition of an investigation or accounting or reporting requirements. In most cases, the Tariff Division will issue a public notice listing the tariff transmittals that are being allowed to take effect and the petitions to reject or to suspend and investigate that are being denied. The Bureau has concluded that, in most cases, Orders regarding tariffs that have been allowed to take effect without suspension or investigation are not necessary. Moreover, preparation of such Orders consumes Bureau resources that can be used more productively to address other pending matters. For further information, contact Judith A.
