W-P-C-6913 & W-P-C-6916 CCBPol 95-28 Released: December 12, 1995 On December 8, 1995, Pacific Bell filed an Amendment and Request for Expedited Modification requesting the Commission's approval of a new shared channel mechanism to be implemented on a trial basis. Pacific Bell asks that the Commission expeditiously approve the addition of a trial analog channel sharing plan to its video dialtone grants for the San Francisco Bay and San Diego, California areas. Additionally, Pacific Bell states that it intends to initially exercise its authorization to provide video dialtone services in those areas in a limited market trial prior to its deployment of a full-scale commercial video dialtone offering. Pacific Bell further states that the ability to trial video dialtone services will complement its efforts and its intent to move forward with the deployment of an advanced broadband network. Interested parties are invited to file comments on Pacific Bell's Amendment and Request.
