                            US WEST FILE REVISIONS 
                         TO ITS COST ALLOCATION MANUAL

 On May 17, 1996, US West filed revisions to its Cost Allocation Manual (CAM) for the
separation of regulated and nonregulated costs.  These changes are filed in compliance with a
limited waiver of Section 22.903 of the Commission's rules released April 17, 1996 authorizing
US West to provide temporary cellular service to its local exchange customers who are awaiting
installation of landline service.

 Parties may file comments on the proposed revisions to the CAM no later than July 9,
1996.  Replies should be filed by July 24, 1996.  Comments should reference AAD 96-55.  A
copy of each pleading should be sent to Colleen Nibbe, FCC, Common Carrier Bureau, 2000
L Street, N.W., Room 812, Washington, D.C. 20554 and the International Transcription Service
(ITS), 2100 M Street, N.W. Suite 140, Washington, D.C. 20037.  Copies are available for public
