The proposed rates for six  xcof the LECs were developed in conjunction with the Commission's standard review procedures.  xThe proposed rates for one LEC and AT&T Alascom were developed in conjunction with the Commission's streamlined annual update procedures.  xEach of the six carriers submitted studies to the Commission in support of its proposed  xydepreciation rates. The carriers' submissions were reviewed by the staffs of the state public  xutility commissions and the Common Carrier Bureau. The carriers' studies and the corresponding  xstaff reviews were discussed in correspondence, telephone conversations, and/or conferences.  x<Each of the carriers thereafter formally filed updated studies which contained the data required  xby Section 43.43 of the Commission's rules.
