       TELECOMMUNICATIONS RELAY SERVICES (TRS) FUND ADMINISTRATOR
        FILES REVISIONS TO ANNUAL TRS FUND REPORT; COMMENT PERIOD
                                EXTENDED


 Pursuant to Section 64.604(c)(4)(iii) of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. 
64.604(c)(4)(iii), the National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA), the TRS Fund
Administrator, filed an annual report with the Commission on October 1, 1996, that includes
the payment formula for the calendar year 1997 and the Fund size estimate for the period April
1997 through March 1998.

On October 11, 1996, NECA filed revisions to its Annual Report.  The deadline for
filing comments on this Annual Report has, therefore, been extended.  Comments are now due
October 25, 1996; reply comments are due November 8, 1996.  

All filings should refer to TRS Fund Administration, CC Docket No. 90-571, and be sent
to William F. Caton, Acting Secretary, Federal Communications Commission, 1919 M Street,
N.W., Washington, D.C.  20554.  Copies of the filing and/or the revision may be obtained from
