                           CINCINNATI BELL FILES
                             REVISIONS TO ITS
                          COST ALLOCATION MANUAL

                                     
       On January 16, 1998, Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company (Cincinnati Bell) filed
revisions to its Cost Allocation Manual (CAM) for the separation of regulated and
nonregulated costs.   Cincinnati Bell's revision reflects the recording of nonregulated
payphone revenues in Account 5280, Nonregulated operating revenue.

       Parties may file comments on Cincinnati Bell's CAM no later than February 27,
1998.  Replies should be filed by  March 13, 1998.  Comments should reference
AAD 98-25. A copy of each pleading should be sent to Colleen Nibbe, FCC Common
Carrier Bureau, 2000 L Street, N.W., Room 812, Washington, D.C.  20554 and the
International Transcription Service (ITS), 1231 20th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 
20036.  Copies are available for public inspection and copying in the Accounting and Audits
Division public reference room, 2000 L Street, N.W., Room 812, Washington, D.C.  Copies
