Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 98-144 Released: January 28, 1998 NOTICE OF FILING SCHEDULE FOR BELL ATLANTIC PERFORMANCE MONITORING REPORTS AAD File No. 98-24 Pursuant to the conditions in the Bell Atlantic/NYNEX Transfer Order, Bell Atlantic Corporation ("Bell Atlantic") will provide Performance Monitoring Reports ("PMR")regarding Bell Atlantic's provision of: (1) services to its retail customers in aggregate; (2)services and facilities provided to any Bell Atlantic affiliate purchasing interconnection; (3)services and facilities provided to carriers purchasing interconnection in the aggregate; and (4) services and facilities provided to individual carriers purchasing interconnection. Bell Atlantic filed its first PMR on November 12, 1997 in compliance with the Order, and will file PMRs quarterly after that date. The requirement to file PMRs will sunset forty-eight months after the release of the Bell Atlantic/NYNEX Transfer Order. The filing schedule for the Bell Atlantic PMRs is as follows: February 17, 1998;May 14, 1998; August 14, 1998; November 16, 1998; February 16, 1999; May 17, 1999;August 16, 1999; November 15, 1999; February 15, 2000; May 15, 2000; August 15, 2000; November 15, 2000; February 15, 2001; May 15, 2001; August 15, 2001; and October 1,2001. Because the reporting requirements in the merger conditions will sunset on August 15,2001, the final PMR filing is scheduled for October 1, 2001 in order to receive the data collected through the planned sunset date. For filings with the Commission, Bell Atlantic will provide the PMRs in electronic format. Copies of the PMR filings are available in the Accounting & Audits reading room, except for those portions of the filings that are afforded confidential treatment pursuant to 47 C.F.R.  0.459. Interested parties may have to make additional arrangements with Division staff to receive the PMRs in the electronic format filed by Bell Atlantic.
