SBC Companies request delay in the implementation schedule to address defects found in Signal Transfer Points (STP) software supplied by a vendor. SBC states that the STP defects were not discovered until January 21, 1998, after live production testing was underway. We seek comments on SBC Companies Petition for Extension of the March 31, 1998, Phase I Implementation deadline. Comments are due by March 9, 1998 and reply comments by March 16, 1998.
