COMMENTS SOUGHT ON UPDATE OF COST ALLOCATION MANUALS

	Fifteen local exchange carriers filed annual updates to their cost allocation manuals (CAMs).  Among other things, the updated CAMs reflect: (1)  the addition of national directory assistance as a nonregulated service; (2) the addition of advanced services affiliates; (3) computer software adjustments; and (4) conversion from Class A level accounting to Class B level accounting for mid-sized carriers.  The carriers are listed below along with the ASD file numbers.

	Parties may file comments on any of the CAMs no later than February 9, 2000.  Replies should be filed by February 24, 2000.  Comments should reference the applicable ASD file number listed above.
