Dominant Carriers Log The Dominant directory contains those daily publications entitled TARIFF TRANSMITTAL PUBLIC REFERENCE LOG. The file names follow the format "dMMDDYY.pdf" where the MMDDYY refers to the month, day, and year of the log's published date. Read the pdf_help.txt file in this directory for information on the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and its use. These logs primarily list tariffs filed by dominant carriers, such as AT&T and the local exchange carriers, for interstate and international long distance services, and for interstate access services. The logs also contain listings of international and domestic long distance tariffs filed by non-dominant carriers, when such domestic and international offerings are combined within a single tariff. (Listings of domestic-only tariffs filed by non-dominant carriers are in the Non-Dominant directory) The files in the Dominant directory contain unofficial lists of tariff transmittals (and related information) received by the OPA-ROD, Tariff Public Reference Room, and are available for inspection and copying along with the related transmittal letters in the Tariff Public Reference Room (Room 250), which is on the second floor at 1919 M Street, N.W., here in Washington, D.C. It is open to the public from 1:30-4:30 pm on normal business days when the FCC is open for business. These lists are prepared for staff use and are released for the convenience of the public. The Commission does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of these lists. You may obtain copies of existing tariffs and related tariff material by making arrangements with the FCC's commercial duplicating contractor (located in Room 246) and copying the material yourself, or you may have the contractor make the copies for you, for a fee. The contractor can also ship or fax tariff and other materials filed with the Commission, as well as documents published by the Commission. Copies also are available for purchase through recognized distribution services. Questions regarding tariff availability may be directed to 1-202-418-1933 (Tariff Public Reference Room). Questions on federal tariffing requirements may be directed to 1-202-418-1540 (Tariff Division).
