This action extends the date to file reply comments in ET Docket No. 97-206 from December 8, 1997 to December 18, 1997. The Commission released the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in ET Docket 97-206 on September 26, 1997. Comments were due by November 24, 1997, and reply comments were due by December 8, 1997. 2. On December 2, 1997 OKTV filed a request for a ten day extension of the reply comment deadline. OKTV states that it has been unable to review all of the comments filed in this proceeding in a timely fashion because the holiday following the initial comment deadline caused delays in the public availability of these comments. Because of the importance of allowing parties an adequate time to review and respond to the comments in this proceeding, we are persuaded to grant OKTV's request. An extension of ten days will permit interested parties to thoroughly review all comments filed in this proceeding and allow a reasonable time to respond. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that the reply comment date for ET Docket No. 97-206 is extended to December 18, 1997. 3. This action is taken pursuant to authority found in Section 4(i) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i); and pursuant to Section 0.31 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.31.
