The forum is intended to discuss the status of development of "smart antenna" technology, the status of implementation of the technology, prospects for future applications, and appropriate rule changes or avenues of approach that the FCC should take with regard to this technology. The forum is tentatively scheduled to be held on the afternoon of July 16, 1997, in the Commission Meeting Room (Rm 856), 1919 M Street, NW, Washington D. C. All parties who are interested in issues associated with the implementation of "smart antenna" technology are invited to attend this forum.
