Ritter, Chief Technology Officer for Metricom, "Richochet--an existing wireless access to the Internet", Al Javed, VP and Chief Engineer of Wireless at Nortel Networks "Enabling Techniques for Wireless Internet", and Kimberly Kleber, Director of Product Marketing for Qualcomm, "HDR: The Internet Unleashed". Each presentation should take approximately 30 minutes, there will be a question and answer session after all the presentations have been completed. The afternoon session presentations by the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Association will being at 1:30 p.m. and include Phil Belanger, Aironet/Cisco, "Introduction to WECA and an Overview", Brett Stewart, Wayport, "Deploying a Nationwide Wireless LAN Infrastructure for Internet Access", David Cohen, 3Com, "Wireless Internet Access from the Home", and Jim Zyren, Intersil, "Using Wi-Fi Technology for Point to Point Wireless". Every effort is made to ensure that a wide diversity of viewpoints (and product manufacturers) are represented at the OET tutorials. By sponsoring the tutorial, the FCC is not endorsing any particular viewpoint or product. This is the 80th in a series of tutorials that began in 1980.
