ACCEPTED FOR FILING On September 20, 2000, Wi-LAN, Inc., submitted an Application for Review of a DENIAL of a Petition for Reconsideration by the Chief of the Office of Engineering and Technology (OET). In the Petition for Reconsideration, Wi-LAN had contested the denial of its Application for Equipment Authorization under Section 47 CFR 14.247 of our Rules. Wi-LAN's application was for a direct sequence spread spectrum device using wide-band orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (WOFDM). We hereby provide the public the opportunity to comment on Wi-LAN's Application for Review.
