FCC Report No. DS-1874. Order Adopted: September 25, 1998 Released: September 28, 1998 By Chief, Satellite and Radiocommunication Division: 1. By this Order, we extend the time for reply comments to be filed in the Satellite Radio Applications For Earth Stations To Operate With INTELSAT Satellites Transferring to New Skies Satellites N.V. proceeding from October 5, 1998 until October 13, 1998. 2. On August 20, 1998, Comsat Corporation (Comsat) filed a letter requesting a brief extension of time to file reply comments in the captioned proceeding, until October 13, 1998. It states that the extension of time is requested because several of Comsat's attorneys and management personnel responsible for preparing a reply will be out of the office during the Jewish Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, which occur during the original reply period. 3. Accordingly, pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission's rules, Comsat Corporation's request for an extension of time to file reply comments in the captioned proceeding IS GRANTED.
