National Systems & Research Co. (NSR) requests a ten-day extension of time to respond to the Petitions to Deny filed on May 7, 1999 by AMSC Subsidiary Corporation (AMSC) and Norcom Networks Corporation (Norcom) regarding the above-referenced application. 2. NSR asserts that good cause exists for the extension so that NSR's counsel and corporate staff can confer and prepare appropriate responses to the numerous issues raised by AMSC and Norcom in their Petitions. Specifically, NSR has recently assigned a new contract officer to lead the project at issue and counsel for NSR has recently moved its practice to a new firm and have been unable therefore, to adequately discuss the issues raised in the Petitions. The extension request is unopposed. 3. In the interest of developing a more comprehensive record, we find it is in the public interest to grant NSR a short extension of time in which to file complete responses to AMSC and NorCom's Petitions. Therefore, we extend the date to file responses to the Petitions to Deny TMI's application from May 17, 1999 until May 26, 1999. 4. This action is taken pursuant to the authority found in Sections 4(i) and 303 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i) 303; and pursuant to Sections 0.51, 0.261, 1.46 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.51, 0.261, 1.46. 5. Accordingly, National Systems & Research Co.'s Consent Motion for Extension of Time is GRANTED and the deadline for filing responses to the Petitions to Deny is EXTENDED to May 26, 1999.
