                              ORDER

     Adopted:  June 17, 1999            Released:  June 18, 1999 

By the Chief, Satellite and Radiocommunication Division:  

     1.   On June 15, 1999, Pegasus Development Corporation (Pegasus) filed a Motion for
Extension of Time for replies in the above-referenced application proceedings in the second Ka-band
processing round.  No party has opposed the request.  Pegasus's Request is granted.  

     2.   The Public Notice issued in this proceeding, Report No. SAT-00012 (released March
16, 1999), established the dates for filing comments and reply comments as May 21, 1999 and June
11, 1999, respectively.  The date for replies to these filings was set for June 21, 1999.  Pegasus has
requested the reply date be extended until July 2, 1999.

     3.   In support of its request, Pegasus cites the numerous arguments raised in the
Oppositions and Reply Comments filed on June 11, 1999.  Pegasus requests additional time in order to
respond fully to the argument.  Further, Pegasus states the public interest would be served by giving
the parties sufficient opportunity to address the relevant issues.  In addition, Pegasus asserts  that the
parties to this proceeding have been contacted concerning this motion and none has objected to the
requested extension. We find the requested extension is warranted.

     4.   Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission's
Rules on delegations of authority, 47 C.F.R. Section 0.261, Pegasus Development Corporation's
Motion for Extension of Time to file replies in the referenced proceedings IS GRANTED.  Replies
may be filed on or before July 2, 1999.

     5.   IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order is effective upon adoption.
