The State of Alaska and the State of Hawaii (the "States"), request an extension of time from June 23, 2000, until July 6, 2000, to file comments on the above captioned application filed by DIRECTV Enterprises, Inc. ("DIRECTV"). The "States" require additional time to hold both formal and informal discussions in an effort to resolve any differences that may exist with respect to the merits of the above reference application. DIRECTV does not oppose the request. 2. We find it is in the public interest to grant the parties an extension of time in which to file comments on the above captioned application. Therefore, we extend the date to file comments on DIRECTV's application until July 6, 2000.
