EchoStar is requesting an additional year from August 15, 1995 to construct and launch its first Direct Broadcast Satellite and an additional four years to construct and launch its second satellite once EchoStar is granted authority to operate in specific western orbital assignments. * * * * * Continental Satellite Corporation File No. 130-SAT-EXT-95 DBS-87-01 By Commission order, the conditional assignment of this authorization from Continental Satellite Corporation (Continental) to Nevada Direct Broadcasting System, Inc. (STARSYS) was granted a seven- day extension of time, until August 7, 1995, in which to file its required financial showing.
