The Commission, by the Chief, Mass Media Bureau, acting pursuant to authority delegated by Section 0.283 of the Commission's Rules, has before it for consideration (1) a Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 96-906, released June 11, l996, assessing a forfeiture of $4,000 for violation of Section 317 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, and Section 73.1212 of the Commission's Rules (sponsorship identification) against Classical Acquisition Limited Partnership (Classical Acquisition), former licensee of Station WTEM(AM), Bethesda, Maryland, and (2) a Petition for Reconsideration filed July 11, l996, by Classical Acquisition. 2. Our Memorandum Opinion and Order considered and rejected Classical Acquisition's argument that its announcements fell within the scope of Section 73.1212(f), raised here again, which provides that when a sponsor and a commercial product are clearly connected, mention of the product constitutes sponsorship identification within the meaning of Section 73.1212. Classical Acquisition has not presented new arguments warranting a different conclusion. 3.
