            Proposed Construction Permits and Licenses
          
          Notice is hereby given that the Instructional Television Fixed
          Service (ITFS) station applications listed below have been
          accepted for filing.  These applications are not mutually
          exclusive with any other applications. Petitions to deny
          against any of the listed applications may be filed with the
          Commission no later than the close of business on August 8,
          1997.
          
          In the course of processing these applications, it may be
          necessary for the Commission to request additional information
          to facilitate the processing procedure.  The Commission
          reserves the right to take whatever action may be appropriate,
          if upon further examination, it is determined that the
          application is defective and not in conformance with the
          Commission's rules and/or policies found in Mass Media Docket
          83-523 (Second Report and Order, 101 FCC 2d 49 (1985).
