   COMMISSION AMENDS METHODOLOGY USED FOR CALCULATION OF
  INTERFERENCE PROTECTION AND DATA SUBMISSION FOR MDS AND
       ITFS STATION APPLICATIONS FOR TWO-WAY SYSTEMS
  
  
  The Commission is today announcing that it has amended and is releasing the document
  "Methodology for Predicting Interference from Response Station Transmitters and to
  Response Station Hubs and for Supplying Data on Response Station Systems."  The text
  of the amended document can be found at the Commission's Internet web site:

  This document was prepared pursuant to, the rules adopted by the Commission in the Report
  and Order on the Amendment of Parts 21 and 74 to Enable Multipoint Distribution Service
  and Instructional Television Fixed Service Licensees to Engage in Fixed Two-Way
  Transmissions in MM Docket 97-217, 13 FCC Rcd 19112 (1998).  An initial version of this
  document was released on September 25, 1998 with the Report and Order and a revised
  version was released on July 29, 1999, in connection with the Report and Order on
  Reconsideration in MM Docket 97-217.  The document released today is a further revision,
  consisting of minor edits in the text and formulas, plus clarification of certain issues.
