COMMISSION ANNOUNCES NEW WEBSITE ON EEO RULES

                                     
     The Commission has created a new page on its website containing information
on the Commission's new Equal Employment Opportunity ("EEO") rules adopted on
January 20, 2000. This website is located at http://www.fcc.gov/mmb/eeo.  The new
EEO rules reaffirm the Commission's long-standing anti-discrimination rule and
emphasize broad outreach to all qualified job candidates for positions at radio and
television stations and cable companies.

     The site contains a summary of the Commission's new EEO requirements and a
list of frequently asked questions.  The site also includes links to comments, previous
orders and other documents in the EEO proceeding.  The site also contains links to the
Commission's new EEO forms.
