Washington, D.C. 20554 January 8, 1999 NEW FCC FORM 323 AVAILABLE FOR USE A new FCC Form 323 (The Commercial Broadcast Station Ownership Report) is available for use. This revised FCC Form 323 (December, 1998 edition), which incorporates gender and race or ethnicity information for holders of attributable interests in such licensees, has been approved for use by the Office of Management and Budget. The revised FCC Form 323 is effective immediately and should be used by all commercial broadcast station permittees and licensees, including those licensees scheduled to submit their 1999 annual ownership reports by February 1, 1999. All previous editions of FCC Form 323 are obsolete and should not be used. The revised FCC Form 323 is available via the Internet by accessing the FCC Web site at http://www.fcc.gov and clicking on the Forms link. A separate "Remittance Advice" form (FCC Form 159, dated July 1997) must also be submitted with any FCC Form 323 requiring the filing of a fee. Printed copies of the revised FCC Form 323 (December, 1998 edition) will be available later this month.
