March 11, 1994 KATHLEEN M.H. WALLMAN APPOINTED DEPUTY CHIEF, CABLE SERVICES BUREAU Kathleen M.H. Wallman has been appointed Deputy Bureau Chief of the Cable Services Bureau, effective March 14, 1994. Prior to joining the Commission, Wallman was a partner at Arnold & Porter, a Washington, D.C. based law firm. At Arnold & Porter, Ms. Wallman specialized in legislative and policy issues concerning antitrust law, intellectual property law, and insurance. In 1989 and 1990, she served as Deputy Counsel to the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law Special Committee to Study the Role of the Federal Trade Commission (the "Kirkpatrick II Commission"). Wallman earned a B.A. from the Catholic University of America and received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center at the same time that she earned a master's degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She served as a law clerk to Judge Laurence Silberman and Edward Tamm of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Judge Pauline Newman, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
