                   FCC ESTABLISHES NEW GENERAL AUCTIONS
                       INFORMATION TELEPHONE HOTLINE


In  an ongoing effort to provide information to the Commission's
many customers,  
including special interest organizations,  the communication
industry, and
designated entities,  the Federal Communications Commission has
implemented a
general FCC Auctions Hotline.  

The hotline will provide the public with  information about the
pending spectrum
auctions.   The hotline is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days
a week, including
holidays, by calling 202/418-1400.  Hearing impaired customers
can contact the
hotline  via Text Telephone at  202/632-6999.
