           SEMIANNUAL REPORT OF FCC INSPECTOR GENERAL RELEASED



     The Chairman of the FCC has transmitted to the appropriate
Congressional Committees the Inspector General's most recent
Semiannual Report to Congress, covering the period October 1, 1993
to March 31, 1994.

     The report noted that the Office of Inspector General released
three audits during this reporting period.  No instances of fraud
were reported.

     During this period the Office of Inspector General responded
to numerous complaints, initiated investigations in a variety of
matters, and continued the investigation of several pending
matters.
