NEWS March 13, 1995 CHARLES ISEMAN NAMED CHIEF, OET SPECTRUM POLICY BRANCH Charles J. Iseman has been selected to be the new Chief of the Spectrum Policy Branch (formerly known as the Frequency Allocation Branch), within the newly-formed Policy and Rules Division of the Office of Engineering and Technology. Previously, Mr. Iseman was a supervisory attorney with the Mass Media Bureau's FM Branch. Mr. Iseman, a native of Brooklyn, NY, attended Cornell University, graduating with an A.B. in mathematics in 1967. He worked as a computer systems analyst in the private and public sectors for eleven years. During this time, he attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, serving as an editor of the law school journal. He graduated with a J.D. cum laude in 1977. Mr. Iseman began his career as an attorney in 1979, when he joined the Commission as a staff attorney in the Mobile Services Division. From 1981 until 1990, he served as a senior attorney with the Review Board. In 1990, joined the FM Branch as a supervisory attorney. He is married to Fran Iseman, a Ph.D. candidate in human development at the University of Maryland, College Park. They live in Columbia, Maryland with "Counsie," their 102-pound Alsatian. -FCC-
