NEWS October 2, 1995 LINDA BLAIR NAMED ACTING CHIEF, AUDIO SERVICES DIVISION, MASS MEDIA BUREAU Linda Blair has been appointed Acting Chief of the Mass Media Bureau's Audio Services Division. She replaces Larry Eads, who retired on September 30, 1995. Ms. Blair has been Assistant Chief of the Division since October 1994. Ms. Blair is a 1982 cum laude graduate of The Washington College of Law at American University, where she was a member of the Law Review staff and participated in various local and national moot court competitions. She practiced communications law at Ginsburg, Feldman and Bress before joining the Commission in 1988. Prior to becoming Assistant Division Chief of the Audio Services Division, she served as an attorney in the Policy and Rules Division of the Mass Media Bureau, as well as in the former Private Radio Bureau and the General Counsel's Office. Ms. Blair resides in the District of Columbia with her husband and two sons. - FCC -
