                 OCBO TO HOST FCC AUCTIONS '96 CONFERENCE

     The FCC Office of Communications Business Opportunities (OCBO) will host a
conference on the wireless communications services for which the FCC has proposed to
auction licenses in 1996.  Private sector panelists will share their views of the business and
financing market for the services proposed to be auctioned.  FCC representatives will
address regulatory issues including the status of the auction and service rulemakings.

     The conference will take place on Friday, March 15, 1996, from 8:00 am until 5:30
pm at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 1000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.  Opening remarks will
be made by Michele Farquhar, Acting Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and
Catherine J.K. Sandoval, Director, OCBO.  FCC General Counsel, William Kennard will be
the luncheon speaker.

     The conference is free of charge and space is limited.  Attendees will be
accommodated on a first come-first serve basis.  Advance registration is required.  For
