                 UPDATED COMMUNICATIONS ACT AVAILABLE FROM GPO


The Commission announces publication by the House Commerce
Committee of an updated edition of the Communications Act of
1934, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of l996.

The publication, Committee Print 104-L, can be ordered from the
Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office,
Washington, D.C. 20402.  Phone orders will be accepted by calling
