October 15, 1996 FIVE BUREAUS PUBLISH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION REPORTS Five of the FCC's operating Bureau's have issued Customer Satisfaction Reports and they clearly indicate that the FCC is meeting the expectations of its customers one year after these Bureaus issued their first Customer Service Standards. The Bureaus issuing the reports are Cable Services, Common Carrier, International, Mass Media, and Wireless Telecommunications. In October 1995, as requested by Executive Order 12862, the FCC developed Customer Services Standards for these five Bureaus. Customer Services Standards were developed based upon customer input as to what services the FCC should provide to its customers. The publication of the FCC's Customer Satisfaction Report reflects how well the FCC is meeting the Customer Services Standards as determined by its customers and internal FCC management measurement systems. Copies of the FCC Customer Satisfaction Reports can be obtained through the Commission's duplicating contractor, ITS, at (202) 857-3800 and on the Internet.
