              PLEADING CYCLE ESTABLISHED FOR REPLY COMMENTS 
                 DUE DURING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
                                     

Released: January 16, 1996

By Public Notice (DA 96-2) (released January 11, 1996), the Managing Director
announced procedures for the filing of documents that were due to be filed during the time
that the Commission was closed during the budget-related shutdown or due to the weather
emergency.   That Public Notice indicated that such documents are "due no later than 5:30
p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 1996."

For certain matters, both comments and reply comments were due during the period
the Commission was closed.  In order to provide parties with an opportunity to file reply
comments responsive to comments due today, the reply dates for the following matters are
extended as follows:  

   Ameritech's Petition for Waiver of Part 69 of the Commission's Rules to permit the
   assessment of EUCL charge on resellers of local exchange service -- (DA 95-2428)
   CCBPol 95-27 ARE DUE JANUARY 23, 1996.

   AT&T's Petition for Reconsideration and Clarification of Bureau's decision on the
   Independent Data Communications Manufacturers Association, Inc.'s Petition for
   Declaratory Ruling regarding AT&T's InterSpan Frame Reply Service  -- (DA 95-
   2396) CCBPol 95-23 ARE DUE JANUARY 31, 1996.

   Southwestern Bell Communications Services, Inc.'s Request to be Classified as a
   Non-Dominant Carrier  --  (DA 95-2399) CCBPol 95-24 ARE DUE JANUARY 31,
   1996.
 
   Hawaii and GCI's Petitions for Reconsideration and Clarification of Commission's
   Order granting AT&T's Motion to be reclassified as a non-dominant carrier  -- (DA
   95-2408) CCBPol 95-25 ARE DUE JANUARY 31, 1996.

   MFS's Petition for Declaratory Ruling that Interconnector Access to LEC Services
   may not be restricted -- (DA 95-2476) CC Docket No. 91-141 ARE DUE JANUARY
   31, 1996.

   GTE's Petition for Waiver of Part 69 of the Commission's Rules to Geographically
   Deaverage Switched Access Charges -- (DA 95-2411) CCBPol 95-26 ARE DUE
   JANUARY 31, 1996.

Interested parties should file reply comments with the Secretary, FCC, 1919 M
Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20554.  A copy should also be sent to Janice Myles,

and to the Commission's contractor for public service records duplication: ITS, Inc., 2100 M
Street, N.W. Suite 140, Washington, D.C. 20037.  Parties filing replies in non-docketed
proceedings should include the appropriate Policy Division internal reference number,
CCBPol 95-23, CCBPol 95-24, CCBPol 95-25, CCBPol 95-26, or CCBPol 95-27, on their
