The forum, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room on February 16, 2000, will be open to the public. No registration is required. Speakers from the FCC will include Mr. Dale Hatfield, Chief, OET; Mr. Francisco Montero, Director, OCBO; Mr. David Farber, the FCC's Chief Technologist; and several staff members. Each presenter will limit its discussion and demonstration to 15 minutes. The focus will be on unlicensed spectrum use and related business opportunities only, including wireless Internet access, wireless LANs, and ultrawideband. Presentations will focus on the product or service offered and not on policy issues or potential changes in the Commission's Rules.
