TAUBENBLATT TO SERVE AS LEGAL ADVISOR IN THE OFFICE OF THE BUREAU CHIEF Washington, DC Thomas Sugrue, Chief of the FCC's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has announced Joel Taubenblatt will move to the Bureau Chief's Office as a Legal Advisor. In his new position as Legal Advisor, Taubenblatt will advise the Bureau Chief and Deputies on various wireless regulatory issues, including matters before the Bureau's Policy Division. Prior to his new appointment, Taubenblatt served as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Commercial Wireless Division of the Bureau. He joined the FCC in July 1996, initially serving in the Common Carrier Bureau. Taubenblatt holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, a B.S. from the Wharton School of Finance, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. - FCC -
