OHLSON HAS JOINED THE OFFICE OF THE BUREAU CHIEF AS A LEGAL ADVISOR Washington, DC Thomas Sugrue, Chief of the FCC's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, has announced that Barry Ohlson has joined the Commission as a Legal Advisor in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau's Office of the Bureau Chief. Ohlson will advise the Bureau Chief and Deputies on various wireless regulatory issues, including matters before the Bureau's Public Safety and Private Wireless Division. Prior to joining the Commission he was Senior Director of Federal Regulatory Affairs at Winstar Communications, Inc. In that position, he was responsible for spectrum and related matters impacting the company before the Commission, Congress and the International Telecommunications Union. Prior to working at Winstar, Ohlson was an Associate at McDermott, Will & Emery and an Associate at Keller and Heckman.
