NEWSReport No. WT 96-13 WIRELESS TELECOM ACTION July 11, 1996 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU ANNOUNCES REVISIONS TO WORLD WIDE WEB PAGES The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has expanded and improved its World Wide Web pages to provide more comprehensive information on the Bureau's activities and services and allow easier access to the information already available on line. Among the important changes scheduled to go on-line tomorrow [July 12, 1996]: žNew information on the Office of Operations in Gettysburg has been added. The links developed by Office of Operations' Licensing and Customer Services Divisions include extensive information on land mobile and microwave services, such as frequently asked questions on licensing issues, information on status of applications in the microwave services, access to forms and staff members, links to information sources outside the Commission, and other useful information. In addition, the new pages also include general information on issues handled by the Consumer Assistance Branch. žMany new links have been added from the radio service pages to related information; and žThe home page has been redesigned to make finding information easier, and an organizational listing has been added that contains links to the various offices within the Bureau, including the Office of Operations - Gettysburg.
