On November 12, 1996, NPI Holdings, Inc. (NPI) filed a Petition for Revocation of Licenses, requesting the Commission to revoke the authorizations of Contact Communications, Inc. (Contact) to operate Station KUO586 on frequency 454.650 MHz and Station KNKM529 on frequency 459.650 MHz. 2. On December 6, 1996, Contact filed a Form 489 requesting the Commission to delete its authorization for frequency 454.650 MHz from its license for Station KUO586. The Commission subsequently deleted frequency 454.650 MHz from Contact's license for Station KUO586. On January 6, 1998, Contact filed a letter requesting the Commission to cancel its license for Station KNKM529. On January 15, 1998, the Commission issued a Public Notice listing Contact's license for Station KNKM529 as cancelled. 3. Because Contact has voluntarily relinquished its authority to operate Station KUO586 on frequency 454.650 MHz and its license to operate Station KNKM529, NPI's Petition for Revocation of Licenses is moot. Therefore, we dismiss NPI's Petition for Revocation of Licenses. ORDERING CLAUSE 4. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to section 4(i) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), section 0.331 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.331, and section 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 1.106, the Petition for Revocation of Licenses by NPI Holdings, Inc. IS DISMISSED. Federal Communications Commission David L. Furth Chief, Commercial Wireless Division Wireless Telecommunications Bureau
