Deadline Established for Submission of Supplemental Information for April 1 Auction of
Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service

     By a Public Notice released on March 6, 1997, the Wireless Telecommunications
Bureau ("Bureau") announced the April 1, 1997 auction of two nationwide licenses in the
satellite Digital Audio Radio Service ("DARS").  See Public Notice, FCC Announces
Auction of Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service, DA 97-477 (Rel. March 6, 1997).  This
Public Notice indicated that in order for bidders to be eligible to bid, they must, among
other requirements, submit Supplemental Information in accordance with the
Commission's rules and instructions contained in the Public Notice.  The Bureau indicated
that the Supplemental Information must be submitted by the fifth day from publication of
the DARS rules in the Federal Register.  

     The DARS rules were published in the Federal Register on March 11, 1997.  See
Report and Order, Memorandum Opinion and Order, and Further Notice of Proposed
Rulemaking, 62 Federal Register 11083 (March 11, 1997).  Thus, the deadline for
submission of the Supplemental Information is 5:30 p.m., ET, March 18, 1997.  Auction
applicants must file their Supplemental Information in hard copy.  Whether the
Supplemental Information is mailed, hand delivered or sent by private courier, it must be
sent to:

     Failure to sign Supplemental Information will result in dismissal of the application
and inability to participate in the auction.  Only original signatures will be accepted.
