Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 99-1135 June 9, 1999 REPLY COMMENT DEADLINE CHANGED FOR TARGETED COMMENT ON WIRELESS E911 PHASE II AUTOMATIC LOCATION IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS CC Docket No. 94-102 On June 1, 1999, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau ("Bureau") released a Public Notice (DA 99-1049) requesting comment on several issues pertaining to the implementation of the Commission's wireless Enhanced 911 ("E911") Phase II Automatic Location Identification ("ALI") requirements. The Public Notice specified that comments must be filed on or before June 17, 1999, and reply comments must be filed on or before June 28, 1999. In a Public Notice released today (DA 99-1141), the Commission's Office of Engineering and Technology, in cooperation with the Bureau, announced that, on June 28, 1999, it will host a roundtable discussion of technical issues involved in implementing the performance and accuracy standards for Phase II ALI technologies. In the interest of giving parties an opportunity to comment on material that may be presented at the technical roundtable, the Bureau has decided to extend the period for filing reply comments on the ALI requirements to July 2, 1999. All other procedural requirements remain as specified in the June 1, 1999, Public Notice.
