               WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU CLARIFIES 
        THAT WAIVER OF SECTION 90.363(D) OF THE COMMISSION'S RULES
               EXTENDS TO ALL GRANDFATHERED MULTILATERATION 
                 LOCATION AND MONITORING SERVICE OPERATORS


On July 25, 1996, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau released an Order granting a request
filed by Pinpoint Communications Networks, Inc., Mobilevision, L.P., Uniplex Corporation and
Roger D. Linquist for waiver of Section 90.363(d) of the Commission's rules (DA 96-1192). 
Grant of the request had the effect of extending the construction deadline for grandfathered
multilateration licensees in the Location and Monitoring Service (LMS) from September 1, 1996
to November 1, 1996.  The Bureau clarifies that the extension granted by the Order applies to
all grandfathered multilateration LMS licensees.
