On October 17, 2013, the Commission released a Public Notice announcing that all ULS applications and notifications filed in accordance with the Commission’s rules (e.g., sections 1.913, 1.946) that were originally due on October 1, 2013 through and including November 4, 2013 are now due on November 4, 2013. To file an application subject to the revised filing deadlines, you must answer the Waiver question on the applicable Universal Licensing System (ULS) form Yes and include an attachment indicating that the filing is subject to these revised filing deadlines. To attach the document, select the Attachment Type called “Revised Filing Deadline” in lieu of a waiver attachment and enter “Revised Filing Deadline Attachment” in the File Description field on the attachment screen in ULS. Filings submitted manually should include an attachment indicating that the filing is subject to these revised filing deadlines and the following statement at the top of the attachment: “Revised Filing Deadline Attachment.” ULS is currently available and we encourage applicants and licensees to file any applications and notifications as soon as practicable.
Note: Following this process will also allow you to submit a filing without paying waiver fees if filings are submitted pursuant to the revised deadline guidance. Normal application fees still apply.
